Venture Ecusta will make it so fun and easy to explore the Ecusta Trail with high-quality bike rentals suited for every rider in your family. Conveniently located at Lennox Station near Downtown Hendersonville, NC, we are right at the trail’s starting point so you can hop on and ride with ease.
The first six miles, from Hendersonville to Horse Shoe, of the Ecusta Trail are open and is a part of the (future) 19.4-mile greenway stretching from Hendersonville to Brevard, passing through Laurel Park, Etowah, Horse Shoe, Penrose, and Pisgah Forest. For more details, visit ecustatrail.org.

Our Fleet:
We’re excited to partner with Giant Bicycles for our rental fleet, known for their smooth ride, durability, and quality you can count on.
Our rental fleet includes:
- E-Bikes (Momentum Transend, Lafree and Voya)
- Trail Bikes (Giant Cypress & Liv Flourish)
- Kid Bikes (Giant Talon)
- Double Kid Trailer (no pets)
- Tail Wagon Pet Trailer (up to 75 lbs)
All rentals include: a helmet, bike lock, and handlebar bag, so you’re ready to roll.
Walk-up rentals are also available, depending upon availability.

Special Events
We are excited to be a part of two community trail events in April.
We’re excited to support the inaugural Main2Main event benefiting the Friends of the Ecusta Trail. Main2Main invites participants to walk, jog, run, bike, rollerblade, or roller skate at their own pace along the Hendersonville section of the Ecusta Trail. The event is intentionally non-timed and non-race-focused, emphasizing shared trail use, community connection, and celebration of the trail’s progress.
If you’re signed up for the event and would like to rent a bike from us, email your registration to bike@ventureecusta.com and we’ll send you a special code for a one-time discount on bike rentals. Rentals based on availability.
We’ll be onsite at the Visitor’s Center with giveaways and selling swag.
Saturday April 25th
Want to try an e-bike?
We’re excited to participate in the 2nd Annual From the Earth Festival celebrating our planet and promoting sustainability. Our shop will be open regular hours for rentals, and we’ll also have a tent along the trail offering a free 15-minute “Take an E-Bike for a Spin.”
All you need to do is sign a waiver and leave your ID with us while you ride. Curious about e-bikes? This is a great chance to give one a try.
Venture Out!
Venture Ecusta is just 0.5 miles from the Henderson County Visitor’s Center, the official start of the Ecusta Trail. We offer free parking for all our customers!
Check out the map we’ve created to help guide you to cool spots along the way. Combining the Ecusta Trail + Downtown Connector + Oklawaha Greenway, there are 10 miles of rideable trail, making a full ride exploring up to 20 miles if you wish!
