Welcome to Venture!

Venture Ecusta will make it so fun and easy to explore the Ecusta Trail with high-quality bike rentals suited for every rider in your family. Conveniently located at Lennox Station near Downtown Hendersonville, NC, we are right at the trail’s starting point so you can hop on and ride with ease.

The first six miles, from Hendersonville to Horse Shoe, of the Ecusta Trail are open and is a part of the (future) 19.4-mile greenway stretching from Hendersonville to Brevard, passing through Laurel Park, Etowah, Horse Shoe, Penrose, and Pisgah Forest. For more details, visit ecustatrail.org.

We’re excited to partner with Giant Bicycles for our rental fleet, known for their smooth ride, durability, and quality you can count on.

Our rental fleet includes:

E-Bikes (Momentum Transend, Lafree and Voya)
Trail Bikes (Giant Cypress & Liv Flourish)
Kid Bikes (Giant Talon)
Double Kid Trailer (no pets)
Tail Wagon Pet Trailer (up to 75 lbs)

All rentals include: a helmet, bike lock, and handlebar bag, so you’re ready to roll.

Walk-up rentals are also available, depending upon availability.

Venture Out!

Venture Ecusta is just 0.5 miles from the Henderson County Visitor’s Center, the official start of the Ecusta Trail. We offer free parking for all our customers!

Check out the map we’ve created to help guide you to cool spots along the way. Combining the Ecusta Trail + Downtown Connector + Oklawaha Greenway, there are 10 miles of rideable trail, making a full ride exploring up to 20 miles if you wish!

Great location right next to the brewery and right towards the beginning of the trail. Prices were very reasonable too. All the staff was friendly and so helpful. We got two adult bikes and one had a kid trailer attached. They only have two kid trailer attachments so book in advance if you need one! Prices were fair and I loved that it was right off the Ecusta trail.

In consideration of that, it should tell you a little bit about Venture Ecusta. *WEBSITE - Easy to navigate, simple design & layout, informative but not overly communicated. WELL DONE! (From an IT Web designer, I just loved it.) *BOOKING - Easy! *SERVICE - GREAT *PRICES - Amazing (especially giving patrons a big discount when most of the Ecusta Trail was being worked on) *BIKES - Sturdy, in good repair, clean, easy to operate, come with zip travel bags and locks. It is paved and well marked and was a scenic ride. Mostly flat but it did have a couple of inclines. We stopped in the downtown area for a bit so they let us keep he bikes longer for no additional charge. Highly recommend!!!

Elliot provided fantastic customer service—he made check-in completely effortless and matched us with the perfect e-bikes. News & Events:

Ecusta Trail Construction Update

The NCDOT is working on a small section of trail in Laurel Park, and although that section of trail is closed, a small bypass can be accessed on White Pine Drive. Improvements at White Pine Drive and Daniel Drive continue, and we look forward to riding the trail without this bypass as soon as possible.

The good news? You can access the Horse Shoe Section with this bypass!

Don't want to bother with with the bypass? You can still ride through Main Street to the Oklawaha. This direction provides:

🚲 2 miles of the Ecusta Trail
🚲 1-mile connector route through Downtown Hendersonville (via Main Street and 4th Avenue) from the Visitor Center to Jackson Park
🚲 3 miles of the Oklawaha Greenway

Together, this creates a fun ride that connects two of Hendersonville's greenways while showcasing Downtown Hendersonville along the way.
